Description

The MCP7386X family of devices features highly advanced linear charge management controllers for use in space-limited, cost-sensitive applications. The MCP73861/3 is intended for applications utilizing single-cell Lithium-Ion or Lithium-Polymer battery packs, while the MCP73862/4 is intended for dual series cell Lithium-Ion or Lithium-Polymer battery packs. The MCP73861/3 has two selectable voltage-regulation options available (4.1V and 4.2V), for use with either coke or graphite anodes and operate with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 12V.
