Description

This device is sensitive gate triggering triac suitable for direct coupling to TTL, HTL, CMOS and application such as various logic functions,medium power AC switching applications, such as fan speed control, lighting controllers and home appliance equipment.

Description

The BTA16 / BTB16 triac family are high perform ance glass passivated PNPN devices.  These parts are suitables for general purpose applications where high surge current capability is required. Application such as phase control and static switching on inductive or resistive load.

The BTA16 is suitable for AC switching application and phase control application such as fan speed and temperature modulation control, lighting control and static switching relay, either in through-hole or surface-mount packages.
