The BTS724G is Smart High-Side Power Switch.
1. N channel vertical power MOSFET with charge pump, ground referenced CMOS compatible input and diagnostic feedback, monolithically integrated in Smart SIPMOS technology.
2. Providing embedded protective functions
Applications:
1. µC compatible high-side power switch with diagnostic feedback for 12V and 24V grounded loads
2. All types of resistive, inductive and capacitve loads
3. Most suitable for loads with high inrush currents, so as lamps
4. Replaces electromechanical relays, fuses and discrete circuits
Basic Functions :
1. Very low standby current
2. CMOS compatible input
3. Improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
4. Fast demagnetization of inductive loads
5. Stable behaviour at undervoltage
6. Wide operating voltage range
7. Logic ground independent from load ground
Protection Functions :
1. Short circuit protection
2. Overload protection
3. Current limitation Thermal shutdown
4. Overvoltage protection (including load dump) with external resistor
5. Reverse battery protection with external resistor
6. Loss of ground and loss of Vbb protection
7. Electrostatic discharge protection (ESD)
