Description
LAX100-NP is Current Transducer. A current transducer, also known as a current sensor or current transformer, is a device designed to measure or sense the current flowing through a conductor without direct electrical contact. It’s commonly used in various industrial, commercial, and residential applications to monitor and measure electrical currents accurately and safely.
The primary function of a current transducer is to convert the high current flowing through a conductor into a proportional low-current signal that can be easily measured and processed by instrumentation or control systems. This is especially important in situations where the current is too high to be directly measured using conventional instruments.
Features
1. Closed loop (compensated) current transducer using the hall effect
2. Printed circuit board mounting
3. Isolated plastic case recognized according to UL 94-V0
4. Multirange with a single device: 16, 25, 33, 50 and 100 A rms
5. 3 independent primary jumpers.
Applications:
1. AC variable speed drives and servo motor drives
2. Static converters for DC motor drives
3. Battery supplied applications
4. Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
5. Switched Mode Power Supplies (SMPS)
6. Power supplies for welding applications
