P4NK60ZFP is N-channel 600 V, 1.7 Ω typ., 4 A Zener-protected SuperMESH Power MOSFET.
A Power MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) is a type of field-effect transistor designed to handle high power levels and switch or amplify high-current signals. Power MOSFETs are commonly used in applications such as power amplifiers, motor control, voltage regulation, and other high-power electronics.
In some cases, especially in power electronics applications, Zener diode protection might be employed to safeguard the gate of a power MOSFET from overvoltage conditions that could potentially damage the device.
These devices are N-channel Zener-protected Power MOSFETs developed using STMicroelectronics SuperMESH technology, achieved through optimization of ST’s well established strip-based PowerMESH layout. In addition to a significant reduction in onresistance, this device is designed to ensure a high level of dv/dt capability for the most demanding applications.
