Description

Consisted of 14+1-channel buffers, the AAT7200 is designed to increase the driving capability for the needs of the thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT LCD). This device includes a Vcom buffer circuits, four rail to rail buffer amplifiers circuits, and 10 buffer amplifiers circuits. Each buffer is capable of driving heavy load and offering fast current loading ( Vcom : 100mA, the others: 30mA).

In the context of TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) technology, a buffer typically refers to a memory buffer used to store the video data that drives the display. This buffer is crucial for smooth and flicker-free image rendering on the screen.

The buffer serves as an intermediate storage space where the graphics controller or GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) can write the pixel data before sending it to the display panel. It allows the graphics controller to process and prepare the entire frame of the image or video before sending it to the display in one continuous operation. This process helps to prevent visual artifacts, tearing, or flickering that may occur if the display receives partial or incomplete data.
