BIT1625 is a high performance single chip digital video decoder combining T-CON and OSD. The video decoder interprets commonly used NTSC/PAL/SECAM video content. Signals to the BIT1625 include analog video CVBS and Y/C. The automatic gain control (AGC) function of the analog/digital converter enhances the ability to handle weak and distorted signals. Superior 2D comb filters and advanced CTI processing result in clearer colors and more natural images.
Programmable timing control (TCON) allows the BIT1625 system to use most popular LCD screens. Programmable brightness, contrast, and color saturation, as well as built-in gamma correction, allow users to freely adjust displayed colors. Embedded OSDs make it very easy for system designers to develop easy-to-use user interfaces. The advanced display format controller converts 4:3 displays to 16:9 very smoothly.
