Description

The C3203 is NPN Silicon Epitaxial Planar Transistor for switching and AF amplifier applications.

The transistor is subdivided into tow group, O and Y and according to its DC current gain. On special request, these transistors can be manufactured in different pin configurations.

 

Features:

1. NPN Configuration: The “NPN” refers to the transistor’s three-layer structure, where the middle layer (base) is P-type semiconductor material, sandwiched between two N-type semiconductor layers (emitter and collector). In an NPN transistor, current flows from the emitter to the collector when a small current is applied to the base.

2. Silicon Epitaxial Planar Technology: The transistor is fabricated using silicon as the semiconductor material, and it employs epitaxial planar technology for manufacturing. This technology allows for precise control over the transistor’s characteristics and ensures better performance, stability, and reliability.

3. Amplification: An NPN transistor can be used as an amplifier to amplify electrical signals. By applying a small input current to the base terminal, a larger current flows through the collector-emitter path, resulting in signal amplification.
