HS8110 is a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control circuit with complete protection function applied to switching power supply, mainly used in the switching power supply part of desktop PC (personal computer).
HS8110 includes the following different functions: overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, power good output (PG), remote on/off control, etc. All the functions of the switching power supply of the personal computer can be realized with only a few external devices.
Switching power supply controllers are available in various types and configurations, including fixed frequency controllers, variable frequency controllers, and controllers designed for specific power supply topologies (such as flyback, forward, or buck-boost).
