Description

A high-definition (HD) CMOS image sensor is a type of image sensor that is commonly used in digital cameras, smartphones, and other imaging devices. CMOS stands for Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor, which refers to the technology used in constructing the sensor.

The HD CMOS image sensor is designed to capture high-quality still images and videos with high resolution and improved image quality. It uses an array of tiny pixels to convert light into electrical signals, which are then processed to create a digital image.

Peripheral Circuit Design Instructions
(1) The NT99140 chip is divided into four power supplies:
VDD = 1.425~1.575V (can use internal or external power supply)
VDDIO = 2.3~3.6V (VDD uses internal power supply) or 1.7~3.6V (VDD uses external power supply)
AVDD = 3.0~3.6V
AVDDPIX = 3.0~3.6V
(2) C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7, and C8 are filter capacitors, and the capacitance values are all 0.1μF or 1μF.
(3) The filter capacitor should be as close as possible to the corresponding pin of the NT99140 chip; C3 is close to VDD, C1 and C2 are close to VDDIO, and C4~C7 are close to
AVDD, C8 is close to AVDDPIX.
(4) The chip has PWRDN & RESETN pins, which need to be pulled out for control.
(5) SCLK/SDATA pin needs a 4.7K~10KΩ pull-up resistor externally.
(6) D[9:0] is a 10-bit Raw output port (D9: MSB, D0: LSB).
(7) D[9:2] is 8-bit YUV/RGB/JPEG output port (D9: MSB, D2: LSB)…]
