Description

The AN5522 is a vertical deflection output IC for high-definition TV and CRT displays in systems that use a bus control system signal-processing IC. This IC can directly drive (including the DC component) the deflection yoke from the sawtooth wave output from the bus control system signal-processing IC.

The vertical output IC is responsible for generating the vertical sawtooth waveform that moves the electron beam from the top to the bottom of the screen to create the image.

The vertical output IC typically consists of several components, including a power amplifier, a waveform generator, and a feedback circuit. The power amplifier amplifies the sawtooth waveform and sends it to the deflection coils, which move the electron beam up and down the screen. The waveform generator generates the sawtooth waveform, while the feedback circuit ensures that the output signal is stable and free from distortion.
