PCA9557PW datasheet

Description

The PCA9557 is a silicon CMOS circuit which provides parallel input/output expansion for
SMBus and I2C-bus applications. The PCA9557 consists of an 8-bit input port register,
8-bit output port register, and an I2C-bus/SMBus interface. It has low current consumption
and a high-impedance open-drain output pin, IO0.

The system master can enable the PCA9557’s I/O as either input or output by writing to
the configuration register. The system master can also invert the PCA9557 inputs by
writing to the active HIGH polarity inversion register. Finally, the system master can reset
the PCA9557 in the event of a time-out by asserting a LOW in the reset input.

Features

1. Lower voltage, higher performance migration path for the PCA9556

2. 8 general purpose input/output expander/collector

3. Input/output configuration register

4. Active HIGH polarity inversion register

5. I2C-bus and SMBus interface logic

6. Internal power-on reset

7. Noise filter on SCL/SDA inputs

8. Active LOW reset input

MAX4051 Datasheet PDF – CMOS Analog Multiplexer

Part Number: MAX4051

Function: Low-voltage, CMOS Analog Multiplexer

Package: DIP, SO, QSOP 16 Pin Type

Manufacturer: Maxim Integrated

Pinouts:

MAX4051 datasheet

Description

The MAX4051, MAX4052, MAX4053 and MAX4051A, MAX4052A, MAX4053A are low-voltage, CMOS analog ICs configured as an 8-channel multiplexer (MAX4051/A), two 4-channel multiplexers (MAX4052/A), and three single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) switches (MAX4053/A).

The A-suffix parts are fully characterized for on-resistance match, on-resistance flatness, and low leakage. These CMOS devices can operate continuously with dual power supplies ranging from ±2.7V to ±8V or a single supply between +2.7V and +16V. Each switch can handle rail-to-rail analog signals. The off-leakage current is only 0.1nA at +25°C or 5nA at +85°C (MAX4051A/MAX4052A/MAX4053A).

All digital inputs have 0.8V to 2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring TTL/CMOS-logic compatibility when using ±5V or a single +5V supply.

Applications:

1. Battery-Operated Equipment

2. Audio and Video Signal Routing

3. Low-Voltage Data-Acquisition Systems

4. Communications Circuits
