MIC2012PCM Datasheet PDF – USB Power Controller

Part Number: MIC2012PCM

Function: USB Power Controller

Package: SOIC 8 Pin type

Manufacturer: Micrel Semicondcutor

Pinouts:

MIC2012PCM datasheet

Description

The MIC2012, MIC2012PCM is a dual channel USB power switch designed to support the power distribution requirements for USB Wakeup from the ACPI S3 state. The MIC2012 will directly switch its two outputs between a 5V main supply and a 5V auxiliary supply normally provided in ATX style power supplies.

Features

• Compliant to USB power distribution specifi cations
• UL Recognized Component
• Two completely independent switches
• Integrated switching matrix supports ACPI S0/S3 state transitions without external FET circuits
• Make-before-break switching ensures glitch-free transitions
• No back-feed of auxiliary supply onto main supply during standby mode
• Bi-level current-limit preserves auxiliary supply voltage regulation in standby mode
• Thermally isolated channels
• Thermal shutdown protection
• Fault status outputs with fi lter prevents false assertions during hot-plug events

Applications:

• Desktop PCs
• Notebook PCs
• Notebook Docking stations
• LAN Servers

TPS3421EG Datasheet PDF – Push-Button Controller

Part Number: TPS3421EG

Function: Low-Power, Push-Button Controller with Configurable Delay

Package: USON 6 Pin Type

Manufacturer: Texas Instruments

Pinouts:

TPS3421EG datasheet

Description

The TPS3420, TPS3421, and TPS3422 (TPS342x) are low-current, ultrasmall, push-button reset timers.

These devices use a long timing setup delay to provide the intended system reset, and avoid resets from short push-button closures or key presses. This reset configuration also allows for differentiation between software interrupts and hard system resets.

Features

• Very Small Package: 1.45-mm × 1-mm SON

• Operating Range: 1.6 V to 6.5 V

• Single (TPS3422) or Dual (TPS3420 and TPS3421) Push-Button Inputs

• Low Supply Current: 250 nA

• Two-State Logic, User-Selectable Input Delay:
– For Example: 7.5 s and 0 s
– Multiple Timing Options Available

• Fixed Timeout Pulse at RST (TPS3421 and TPS3422): 400 ms
– Other Timing Options Available on Request

• Active Low, Open-Drain Output
