The HS8110 is a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control circuit with complete protection function applied to switching power supply, mainly used in the switching power supply part of desktop PC (personal computer).

A Computer Switching Power Supply Controller, also known as a PC power supply controller or simply a power supply controller, is an essential component within a computer’s power supply unit (PSU). Its primary function is to convert the incoming AC (alternating current) voltage from a wall outlet into the various DC (direct current) voltages required to power the computer’s components, such as the motherboard, hard drives, graphics card, and other peripherals.

HS-8110 includes the following different functions: overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, power good output (PG), remote on/off control, etc. All the functions of the switching power supply of the personal computer can be realized with only a few external devices.

The CM6800T is a turbo-speed PFC and a Green PWM controller. It is designed to further increase power supply efficiency while using the relatively lower 380V Bulk Capacitor value.
