AD7904 datasheet

Description

The AD7904 / AD7914 / AD7924 are, respectively, 8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit, high speed, low power, 4-channel successive approximation ADCs.

The parts operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and feature throughput rates up to 1 MSPS. The parts contain a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 8 MHz.

Features

1. Fast throughput rate: 1 MSPS

2. Specified for AVDD of 2.7 V to 5.25 V

3. Low power :

(1) 6 mW maximum at 1 MSPS with 3 V supplies

(2) 13.5 mW maximum at 1 MSPS with 5 V supplies

4. 4 single-ended inputs with sequencer

5. Wide input bandwidth : AD7924, 70 dB SNR at 50 kHz input frequency

AD5421 Datasheet PDF – 4 mA to 20 mA DAC ( Converter )

Part Number: AD5421

Function: 16-Bit, Serial Input, Loop-Powered, 4 mA to 20 mA DAC

Package: TSSOP and LFCSP Type

Manufacturer: Analog Devices

Pinouts:

AD5421 datasheet

Description

The AD5421 is a complete, loop-powered, 4 mA to 20 mA digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed to meet the needs of smart transmitter manufacturers in the industrial control indust r y. The DAC provides a high precision, fully integrated, low cost solution in compact TSSOP and LFCSP packages. The AD5421 includes a regulated voltage output that is used to power itself and other devices in the transmitter. This regulator provides a regulated 1.8 V to 12 V output voltage. The AD5421 also contains 1.22 V and 2.5 V references, thus eliminating the need for a discrete regulator and voltage reference.

Features

1. 16-bit resolution and monotonicity

2. NAMUR-compliant alarm currents
(1) Downscale alarm current = 3.2 mA
(2) Upscale alarm current = 22.8 mA/24 mA

3. Total unadjusted error (TUE): 0.05% maximum

4. INL error: 0.0035% FSR maximum

5. Output TC: 3 ppm/°C typical

6. Quiescent current: 300 µA maximum

7. Flexible SPI-compatible serial digital interface with Schmitt triggered inputs

8. On-chip fault alerts via FAULT pin or alarm current

9. Automatic readback of fault register on each write cyc

Applications:

1. Industrial process control

2. 4 mA to 20 mA loop-powered transmitters

3. Smart transmitters

4. HART network connectivity
