Description

The INA206, INA207, and INA208 are a family of undirectional current-shunt monitors with voltage output, dual comparators, and voltage reference. The INA206, INA207, and INA208 can sense drops across shunts at a common-mode voltages from –16 V to 80 V. The INA206, INA207, and INA208 are available with three output voltage scales: 20 V/V, 50 V/V, and 100 V/V, with up to 500-kHz bandwidth.

The INA206, INA207, and INA208 also incorporates two open-drain comparators with internal 0.6-V references. On 14-pin versions, the comparator references can be overridden by external inputs. Comparator 1 includes a latching capability, and Comparator 2 has a user-programmable delay on 14-pin versions. The 14-pin versions also provide a 1.2 V reference output.

1. Current Sensing: It is designed for precision measurement of current flowing through a high-side shunt resistor in a circuit. It can accurately measure current up to a specified maximum level.

2. Voltage Output: It provides an analog voltage output proportional to the current flowing through the shunt resistor. The voltage output allows for easy interfacing with analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) or other measurement devices.

3. Gain Adjustment: Some variants of the INA206 may offer programmable gain options to adjust the sensitivity of the current measurement.

4. Fault Detection: The device may feature built-in fault detection functions, such as overcurrent detection and thermal shutdown, to
protect the circuit from abnormal operating conditions.

Description

The MAX6369 thru MAX6374 are pin-selectable watchdog timers that supervise microprocessor (μP) activity and signal when a system is operating improperly. During normal operation, the microprocessor should repeatedly toggle the watchdog input (WDI) before the selected watchdog timeout period elapses to demonstrate that the system is processing code properly. If the μP does not provide a valid watchdog input transition before the timeout period expires, the supervisor asserts a watchdog (WDO) output to signal that the system is not executing the desired instructions within the expected time frame. The watchdog output pulse can be used to reset the μP or interrupt the system to warn of processing errors.
