1. Process aspects:
whether the low-end dual-core MT6572 or high-end eight-core MT6592, are used 28nm process. MT6572 and MT6582 which is the use of a common 28nm process, while the Advanced Edition Quad Core MT6588 and MT6592 is the use of 28nm HPM process, HPM is actually short for High Performance Mobile, meaning low-power mobile high-energy processes.
2. Frequency and cache:
frequency aspects MT6572, MT6582 uses a 1.3GHz, L2 cache which is mainly different. The Advanced version MT6588 is clocked using 1.7GH, L2 cache and MT6582 same. Eight core MT6592 is the use of an optional 1.7 ~ 2.0GHz frequency, while L2 cache upgrade to 1MB. According to current news, the first listing of eight core MT6592 will use the 1.7Ghz frequency, perhaps 2.0Ghz frequency will be the advanced version of the chip used in frequency, then the chip code should also be renamed.
