3TF47 is 3-Phase, AC Contactor. An AC (Alternating Current) contactor is an electrical switching device used to control and manage the flow of electrical power in an alternating current circuit. It is commonly used in industrial and commercial applications for controlling motors, lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and other electrical loads.
AC contactors are controlled by a control circuit, often connected to a control device like a switch, relay, or programmable logic controller (PLC). When the control circuit is energized, it energizes the coil of the contactor, closing the main contacts and allowing the current to flow to the load. When the control circuit is de-energized, the coil loses its magnetic field, and the main contacts open, interrupting the current flow to the load.
