A Zener-Protected SuperMESH Power MOSFET is a specific type of power MOSFET that incorporates Zener diode protection circuitry. SuperMESH is a proprietary technology developed by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to enhance the performance of power MOSFETs by reducing on-resistance (RDS(on)) and improving overall efficiency.
The SuperMESH series is obtained through an extreme optimization of ST’s well established stripbased PowerMESH™ layout. In addition to pushing on-resistance significantly down, special care is taken to ensure a very good dv/dt capability for the most demanding applications. Such series complements ST full range of high voltage MOSFETs including revolutionary MDmesh products.
