Description
The SN74LS47N feature active-low outputs designed for driving common-anode LEDs or incandescent indicators directly. Display patterns for BCD input counts above 9 are unique symbols to authenticate input conditions. Input and outputs are entirely compatible for use with TTL logic ouputs.
The device is a BCD-to-7-segment decoder/driver integrated circuit. It is used to convert a binary coded decimal (BCD) input into a pattern of signals that can be used to drive a 7-segment LED display. The SN74LS47N is part of Texas Instruments’ 74LS series of logic gates and has low-power Schottky technology.
