The L149 is a general purpose power booster in Pentawatt package consisting of a quasi-complentary darlington output stage with the associated biasing system an inhibit facility. The device is particularly suited for use with an operational amplifier inside a closed loop configuration to increase output current.

The GS7103 can deliver up to 3A of continuous output current with a typical dropout voltage of only 260mV using internal n-channel MOSFETs. The linear regulator uses a separate VDD supply to power the control circuitry and drive the Internal n-channel MOSFETs. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to the voltage that is very close to VIN.
