This is a type of current sensor that measures the electrical current flowing through a conductor by utilizing the Hall effect. The Hall effect is the production of a voltage difference (Hall voltage) across a conductor when an electric current flows through it and it is subjected to a magnetic field that is perpendicular to the current direction.
