Description
PT4515 is a high-precision linear LED driver chip with a single-stage architecture and no EMI problems. The system does not require magnetic components such as inductors or transformers, and the entire system structure is simple and low-cost.
This LED Driver Chip uses patented current control and compensation technology. The current accuracy can be controlled within ±3%, which can be set by external resistors, and the peak current is 60mA. Multiple chips can be used in parallel to increase current output capacity. PT-4515 has built-in over-temperature and high-voltage automatic current reduction function, and over-temperature protection function.
PT4515 has a high-voltage current drop function. When the voltage of the chip OUT pin is too high (>70V), the output current will be gradually reduced to keep the output power at an approximately constant value to improve the stability of the system. When the high-voltage current drop is in effect, the output current is reduced to a maximum of one-third of the set output current. The system will continuously detect the OUT pin voltage. When the OUT pin voltage drops below 70V, the system current returns to normal.
