The TB2926CHQ is a four-channel BTL power amplifier for car audio applications.
A four-channel BTL (Bridge-Tied Load) power amplifier is an audio amplifier configuration that is designed to drive four separate channels of audio using a BTL setup. BTL amplifiers are known for their ability to provide higher power output compared to single-ended amplifiers.
This IC has a pure complementary P-ch and N-ch DMOS output stage, offering maximum output power (POUT MAX) of 49 W. It includes a standby switch, mute function and various protection features.
BTL Configuration:
The Bridge-Tied Load configuration is a way to achieve higher power output by connecting the load (usually a speaker) between two amplifier outputs. In a BTL setup, each channel is essentially divided into two halves, and the load is connected between the “hot” outputs of these halves.
