Description

The 7410 is Triple 3-Input NAND Gates.

This device contains three independent gates each of which performs the logic NAND function.

A NAND gate is a type of digital logic gate that performs the operation of logical conjunction, or AND, followed by the operation of logical negation, or NOT.

In other words, a NAND gate produces a LOW output only when all of its inputs are HIGH, and produces a HIGH output for all other input combinations. It is represented by a symbol that looks like an AND gate followed by a small circle, which indicates the negation operation.
