AD594 Datasheet PDF – Monolithic Thermocouple Amplifier

Part Number: AD594

Function: Thermocouple Amplifier

Package: DIP 16 Pin Type

Manufacturer: Analog Devices

Image and Pinouts:

AD594 datasheet

Description

The AD594, AD595 is a complete instrumentation amplifier and thermocouple cold junction compensator on a monolithic chip. It combines an ice point reference with a precalibrated amplifier
to produce a high level (10 mV/°C) output directly from a thermocouple signal. Pin-strapping options allow it to be used as a linear amplifier-compensator or as a switched output setpoint controller using either fixed or remote setpoint control. It can be used to amplify its compensation voltage directly, thereby converting it to a stand-alone Celsius transducer with a low impedance voltage output.

This is Monolithic Thermocouple Amplifier with Cold Junction Compensation Pretrimmed for Type J Thermocouples.

Features

1. Pretrimmed for Type J (AD594) or Type K (AD595) Thermocouples

2. Can Be Used with Type T Thermocouple Inputs

3. Low Impedance Voltage Output: 10 mV/8C

4. Built-In Ice Point Compensation

5. Wide Power Supply Range: +5 V to 615 V

6. Low Power: <1 mW typical

7. Thermocouple Failure Alarm

8. Laser Wafer Trimmed to 18C Calibration Accuracy

9. Setpoint Mode Operation

10. Self-Contained Celsius Thermometer Operation

11. High Impedance Differential Input

12. Side-Brazed DIP or Low Cost Cerdip

ADXL05AH Datasheet PDF – Single Chip Accelerometer

Part Number: ADXL05AH

Function: +/- 1g to +/-5g single chip accelerometer with signal conditioning

Package: 10-Pin TO-100 Type

Manufacturer: Analog Devices

Image and Pinouts:
ADXL05AH datasheet

Description

The ADXL05AH is a complete acceleration measurement system on a single monolithic IC.

The ADXL05 is a force balanced capacitive accelerometer with the capability to measure both ac accelerations (typical of vibration) or dc accelerations (such as inertial force or gravity). Three external capacitors and a +5 volt regulated power supply are all that is required to measure accelerations up to ±5 g.

Features

1. 5 milli-g Resolution
2. Noise Level 123 Less than the ADXL50
3. User Selectable Full Scale from 61 g to 65 g
4. Output Scale Selectable from 200 mV/g to 1 V/g

Applications:

1. Low Cost Sensor for Vibration Measurement
2. Tilt Sensing with Faster Response than Electrolytic or Mercury Sensors
3. More Sensitive Alarms and Motion Detectors
4. Affordable Inertial Sensing of Velocity and Position
