Description

The PA2030A is a class AB Audio Power Amplifier. It allows a rail to rail output voltage swing with no need of bootstrap capacitors for the fully complementary PNP/NPN output configuration.

A Class AB Audio Power Amplifier is an electronic circuit designed to amplify an audio signal to a higher power level suitable for driving a speaker or other type of load. It operates in the Class AB amplifier mode, which is a hybrid of Class A and Class B amplifier modes.

In a Class AB amplifier, a small bias current is applied to the output transistors to keep them conducting slightly even when there is no input signal. This helps reduce distortion caused by the crossover between the positive and negative halves of the input signal.
