The STR-W6200D series are power ICs for switching power supplies, incorporating a power MOSFET and a current mode PWM controller IC in one package. Including a startup circuit and a standby function in the controller, the product achieves low power consumption, low standby power, and high cost-effectiveness in power supply systems, while reducing external components.
A PWM Off-Line Switching Regulator is a type of power supply or voltage regulator that operates as an offline switch-mode power supply (SMPS) and uses pulse-width modulation (PWM) to control the output voltage. These regulators are commonly used in a wide range of electronic devices and equipment to efficiently convert high-voltage AC (alternating current) power from the mains supply to low-voltage DC (direct current) power suitable for powering electronic circuits.
